Glass Doors will be prepared to except glass in one of two ways:
Diagram A:
SR-10G - SR-20G - SR-30G (Stile & Rail Profiles)
Prepared for 1/8" Glass
1. Routing for Clear Vinyl Retainer (see diagram A).
This is our standard procedure to prep for glass unless otherwise specified.
The vinyl retainer will automatically be supplied at no extra charge
and is available in clear only.
2. Squaring out the back of the door will only be done only if requested and will require glass clips (clips are not supplied.) Note; Arched doors that are squared out for glass will require an arched piece of glass to be used. (Glass not included)

Any of our doors shown at Raised Panel Doors can be made open for
glass by adding a "G" at the end of the doors style. For mullion doors tell us the number of lites you would like as well as the mullion style as shown below.

*You must enter in the mullion style you need or it will be done as SR-30,
even if your Stile & Rail is a different style.

Mullion Styles

The standard placements of mullions will be to divide the opening equally as follows:
8” high to 22” high=4 lites
22-1/16” high to 38” high=6 lites
38-1/16” high to 60” high=8 lites

Special mullion placements are available.
Please send detailed drawings for price and availability.

Profile MR-40 will have the mullions shipped loose and
must be held behind the glass.

Soft Maple, White Ash, White Oak, and Walnut doors will be made with
square/flat mullions (SR-30). Mullions profiled with SR-10 or SR-20
will have a setup charge added.

How To Calculate Cost For Glass Doors:

*Measurements are rounded to the next highest inch.
*Round all calculations to the next highest hundredth. (1 sq. ft. minimum per door)
*Center rails are added for doors over 23" wide or 60" high unless otherwise requested.

HOW TO PRICE:
1. Measure your door, Length x Height in inches.
2. Divide by 144, = Square Footage.
3. Multiply the Square Footage by the cost for the type of wood you need.
(Door Cost is shown above in the pricing table, use the color code for for door style.)
4. All prices are for 12 or more doors. 4 or less add 35%, 11 or less add 20%.
5. For mullion doors, add $6.65 per lite.
6. Also add in extras such as:

Finishing with Clear-coat:                                     $6.85 / sq. ft. (See Colors For Finished Doors)
Finishing with Paint:                                              $12.45 / sq. ft.
5/4 Thick                                                                 add 25% to wood cost
5/4" = (1" Finish Thickness, E-104 edge only)-(Red Oak, Maple & Cherry Only)
Premium Grade Lumber                                      add 20% to un-finished cost

MDF is Medium Density Fiberboard. (Paints very well)
These Doors are made of a Solid MDF Material.
**SR-20 is the only Mullion and inside edge offered on our MDF Glass Doors**

Glass not included. Clips must be used to hold the glass in place on MDF.
